Nikhilesh Sinha is Professor of Economics & Finance and Chair of Research Ethics at Hult International Business School. He holds a PhD from UCL, Masters in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, and a Master of Laws granted jointly by the Universities of Hamburg and Bologna. He led the research team at the Affordable Housing and Urbanization Vertical at the Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions (CEMS) between 2010-12. CEMS is a research centre and think-tank based out of the Indian School of Business, that focuses on designing and evaluating market-based strategies to address challenges and opportunities in emerging market. The Centre brings together insights from academia and industry to try and find long-term scalable solutions to lack of access to education, health services, sustainable energy sources and housing. His interests stretch to several domains outside economics. He has hosted radio programmes for All India Radio, written anchored and produced television content for the Economic Times television channel – ET NOW , and acted and directed for the stage as a Co-Founder of Theatreworks.
